With Rocio & Nykol Angelik visiting family & friends here in the States (Arizona) now for a while... we were hoping & praying we'd get a chance to see them before they returned to Mexico. Well, last Sunday our prayers were graciously answered! Rocio & Nykol somehow made it to Corona, CA and was staying with family. Lucky for us, they were both free that afternoon and wanted to see us too!
We drove up to Corona and picked them up...
and then headed on over to L.A. to visit with 'The Girls!'
It was great to see and visit with Rocio...
but to be completely honest, it was all about little Nykki!!!
I kind of felt bad for the kid... I mean there wasn't a second where anywhere from one to three cameras were in her face capturing every little frown, smile, and expression!
But can you really blame us?
Nykol was just so happy and so much fun...
it was hard not to want to capture every little moment with her!
Nykol had just turned one in late June... so in a belated celebration at Buca di Beppo's in Pasadena... with cake, presents, and even an extravagant birthday song from the waiters... we all wished little Nykki a happy first birthday and celebrated appropriately... with lots of cake stuffed in our faces!
Can't tell you how glad we were to finally be able to meet up and visit! It was well worth the wait... for Nykol was an absolute blast to be around and we all had such a wonderful time! I just wish Nykol would have been a little more photogenic! :-) Hah!
