With J.R.'s family still in town and staying with us, we had to find something to do besides watch the kids terrorize our two cats! But with no plans, hardly any money, not owning a 15-passenger van, and the pool water still way too cold to enjoy... our options were somewhat limited. But at least we had the weather on our side! It was unseasonably warm with lots of sunshine... which made for the perfect recipe to go play at the park!
A nice short walk through the neighborhood...

And then the next thing we knew...

After begging, pleading and practically throwing a fit...
Those adorable little sisters finally allowed me to come join and play with them!
Although he did last a full 8 seconds...
I'm not so sure he realized it wasn't that impressive!
And Jei & I thought we were goofy parents!
As tempting as it was to go down the slides and ride the spring-thingies... Momma Soch preferred to sit down, relax, crocket a hat, and enjoy watching her family play!
It was finally Idely's turn to watch the little ones... while Jei & I took full advantage of the slides, swings, and spring-thingies!
The sun started to slowly make it's way past the mountains...
which was our clue to start heading back home.
Poor Joanna all tuckered out. I think she had just about all the fun she could handle for one afternoon!

it was hard not to have "perma-grin" the entire afternoon!
Allen Jess loves strolling to and from the park! He is starting to notice things a lot more now, so very rarely now does he fall asleep during strolls. Instead, he likes to observe the world around him! He also likes to observe his toys... and has recently started to reach and grab for things, like this week's favorite toy: the crinkly cube.
