Unfortunately for the twins... Allen Jess didn't quite split into four ways. If he did, there certainly would've been a lot less arguing, fighting, and bickering over who got to hold and play with him next! So with just one cute little baby around, it wasn't easy sharing him... but truth be told, the kids did a really good job giving him up so that whoever wanted him next could hold, feed, play and kiss him for a while. But to be honest, I really was kind of amazed at how much the kids were so into Allen! At their age, I just kind of figured they'd give him a few minutes/seconds of love and then run off and go play. But for the most part, it was actually quite the opposite... especially when it came to one of the kids in particular. 
Catalina did a great job at sharing Allen and making sure her brothers and sister got just as much time with him as she did... but you could definitely tell that if they weren't around, she would've kept him and loved on him until one of the adults told her it was time to give him up!
And it wasn't like the others didn't want anything to do with him...
it was just that "Cati" wanted him all for herself!
It was quite obvious that even at such a young age... Cati possessed the same amazing nurturing and maternity skills as her mother!
I'm still pretty much blown away at the fact that Michele had two sets of twins 22 months apart... and still managed to raise four of the most well behaved, loving, and kindest kids we've ever known! But that is exactly how I would describe Michele (except for the well behaved part! Hee-hee!)... so I guess I really shouldn't be too shocked that one of her daughters turned out exactly like her!
It didn't matter what it was... holding him, changing him, or feeding him, Cati was more than eager to step in and get the job done! Needless to say, you didn't hear any complaints from Jeilene!
We couldn't find a helmet small enough...
but Cati was more than willing to give Allen a ride!
And if she wasn't holding him, she was right there with him trying to get lovings and kissings from him... although I'm pretty sure she was just waiting & hovering around until whoever was holding Allen got tired of him and was ready to pass him on to the closest person around. It was a good strategy because it worked!
The two were practically inseparable. Allen Jess enjoyed her just as much as Cati enjoyed him. We couldn't help but think as the week flew by... of just how incredible and amazing of a mother Cati will grow up to be! But with two generations of astounding maternity skills in her bloodline... it wasn't too hard to believe that one day she might be a wonderful mom too, just like Momma Soch & Michele!
