Six months ago today our lives forever changed when we had our first opportunity to actually touch, cuddle and kiss our little boy, Allen Jess! Not a moment goes by that I don't feel overjoyed by the thought of him and feel so blessed to have him in our lives.
He made his big introduction into this world on September 25, 2011... and has filled our hearts with nothing but love and happiness ever since. But oh, how quickly time flies! It's absolutely amazing to see photos of his first week of birth to the week leading up to his six month birthday! Alec and I see photos of his first few weeks and we don't even remember him being so tiny! (No wonder everybody tells you to take a ton of pictures every single day!)
He's gone from weighing 8 lbs 13 oz to weighing 18 lbs;
He's gone from weighing 8 lbs 13 oz to weighing 18 lbs;
Measuring 20 inches to measuring 28 inches;
Eating 1 ounce of milk to 6 ounces - plus solids;
And sleeping 20 hours a day to "I'm-lucky-if-he-takes-a-nap-today"!
We've been amazinly blessed as Allen Jess is the most well behaved baby ever! He is always happy, is a really good eater (no wonder he's grown so much!), loves bath time, enjoys getting his diaper changed, and is just so much fun! There is no way we can complain... well, except for the fact that six months have gone by so incredibly fast!
They might have been the fastest six months ever... but at least they were the six most happiest months we've ever known! We still can't believe just how much Allen Jess has grown... and can't wait to see how much he changes in the next six months!
